NURSERY
CHANGES
In order to keep the nursery safe for our youngest
members, we ask that Sunday School aged
children attend the service with their
parents. We love having them in the nursery, however
they get very involved in
their play and don’t always notice the little ones crawling on
the floor. We have color packets available at the Usher’s Stand
to keep children entertained. Therefore, in order to keep our nursery
safe for our youngest members, we are asking that Sunday School aged
children attend the service with their parents.
Of course on LOGOS/music practice nights (and special
events), older children are welcome since they are not old enough to
participate in those activities. Rose has been working hard to come up
with some
activities to make the nursery fun for the older children on those nights.
We appreciate
all her time and effort. Thank you for understanding our new policy.

SAVE
THOSE CANCELLED STAMPS
The Bethel Institution in Germany collects the stamps that
we save and
send. Bethel is the home where 2300 handicapped and approximately
4500 able-bodied people live together. Alongside medical treatment, an
important component of the therapeutic program is the co-operation of
all
the disabled residents in the running of Bethel. Many patients have jobs
in the Stamp Collecting Center. The stamps must be sorted, washed,
dried, filed and classified, stuck into selection albums for collectors
and bagged for stock-keeping.
The stamps prepared for sale by the disabled find good outlets among
stamp collecting circles. From the net proceeds of stamps sales, homes
for the disabled are being supported in Tanzania (homes belonging to
the
United Evangelical Mission). Thus the handicapped people in Bethel are
able to contribute a considerable amount to the welfare of handicapped
people in the Third World.
So please save your stamps and put them in the box on top of the
microwave in the Old Fellowship Hall Kitchen. Stamps should be cut out
of the envelopes with a l/4 edge, so that the perforations are not damaged.
New and used US and foreign stamps, special issue and every-day stamps
are needed as well as those on postcards.

INCLEMENT
WEATHER POLICY
Winter is upon us and with all
the holiday fun also comes
the chance of bad weather.
If it becomes necessary to
cancel functions or services at
the church we will use the
following channels to
announce those changes.
40/29 KHOG and its website www.4029tv.com
KNWA Fox24 and its website nwahomepage.com When you see Good Shepherd Lutheran listed
among the church closings make sure it says Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church Fayetteville. There is a
small Lutheran church in Benton County that when
it announces being closed can become confusing for
our members. IF we close (which is extremely rare) make
sure the Good Shepherd church being closed is in
Fayetteville.
