one of the members listed below. The council meets the third Monday

The Grounds Committee has the responsibility to maintain and
enhance the natural beauty of the church's outdoor property. The primary
responsibility of the grounds committee is to manage the care and upkeep
of the grounds & landscape
beds on the church’s property. This consists of overseeing the
hiring and workmanship of the contracted lawn services and any contracted
snow removal. It also includes organizing a spring and fall church clean
up. In addition to this, there are some activities that are on an as
needed basis that require attention, such has coordinating any watering
efforts, or care of the play ground area.
Building - John Askegaard
The Building Committee has the responsibility to maintain and enhance
the church’s indoor property. The Building Committee at Good
Shepherd is manages the building and equipment inside
including repairs or modifications. Experience of any type in areas such
as electrical, drywall, roofing, flooring, painting, etc. would be very
beneficial. Also, just having someone able to check on things during
the day as needed would greatly benefit Good Shepherd.
Evangelism - Penny Storms
Goals for the evangelism committee are reaching
the unchurched in our community, ministering to our inactive members,
greeting and following up with visitors to Good Shepherd and maintaining
the materials in the visitor’s booth. Our committee periodically
checks the church mailboxes to determine members who may be absent from
services and follow up with phone calls, cards and/or email contact to
those members. We share information with the Stephen Ministry group to
see that members who may need help dealing with various life-changing
situations are ministered to and we invite anyone interested in these
goals to join our committee.
